Grey Horse, LLC
2010 Buckskin & White APHA Mare
Ophelia is a stunning, 15.1 hand 2010 buckskin and white APHA mare. She is correct, unblemished and beautifully put together. She has done some of everything. She is great on the trail alone or with others, she is very well-broke in the arena and rides both english and western with all lateral work. She jumps in great form and is green over fences. She has worked cattle and has been roped off of. She has been ridden in big clinics and travels great. She ties and loads and has impeccable manners. She is currently working barefoot and has been used in lessons. No vices or health or lameness issues. She is ready to go any direction.
2012 Grey AQHA Gelding
16+ hands and still growing
Alabama is a nice, well-broke young horse who is ready for a job in the show ring. Alabama is currently 5 years old, 16+ hands and growing/filling out, and a lovely grey with some socks thrown in. He trail rides alone or in company, has been ridden in big group clinics, rides english and western, and has worked cattle.
Alabama's strength, though, is his movement and jump. He has a lovely, big, rhythmic canter and is super with his knees over the jumps. He is green over fences but shows great instincts, a calm nature and the knees and round jump that judges will love. He does not peek, spook or stop. He is well broke on the flat, including lateral work. Snaffle mouth. Could be brought along by an amateur or young rider with moderate supervision.
Alabama stands tied, loads in the trailer, shoes fine, bathes, longes. He is a playful but not dominant horse in the pasture with others. Alabama travels well. He trailers great (even multi-day trips), settles quickly and eats and drinks well. He has no history of illness or lameness. Pre-purchase exams welcome at buyer's expense. This is a nice, fancy young horse who wants a job!

We're not really in the business of selling horses, but we do occasionally sell one of our personal horses. We do not "flip" horses quickly for a profit. One of the reasons we sell horses sporadically is because we enjoy making good horses. If we sell a horse once in a while, then we can bring some more along. Sometimes a horse's natural aptitude takes him in a different direction than the things we want to do, and that's fine with us too. Any horse we offer for sale has been a part of our family for at least a year. We have lived with him on the farm, traveled him and gotten to know him both at home and away. Some horses we've raised from babies, and others we acquired as adult horses. Either way, we have spent a lot of time with them and know them pretty well.
The Red Mare
2009 Chestnut AQHA Mare
This is a lovely, kind mare. She is very safe, and great on the trail. She is super on the ground, easy to be around, an easy keeper and can live with geldings (or geldings can live with her!). She travels great and has no vices. She has been in big, crowded clinics and has been used on cattle. She is a "forward" ride and most suited to a trail riding or walk-trot home.
